The idea that artists will create and people will buy and enjoy their art is not revolutionary. Through the years this concept was lost and art became the domain of wealthy collectors perceiving it as an investment tool. Beauty, esthetics, originality and sentiment have become yet another investment fund or another means for social differentiation. Prices soared, gallery owners made their bets, artists groveled and the art was evaluated based on its net-future-value.

The gallery’s uniqueness lies in its concept of art as accessible and affordable to all – reasonable prices for excellent art. Towards this means Zadik relinquishes significant income percentages and exclusive contracts with the artists. The journey into the enigmas of art is shared by artist, public and gallery.

We intend to enable everybody to enrich themselves with an original work of art and not compromise with a reproduction or Ikea photo to cover the walls of their homes. The gallery’s mission is to enable people to empower their daily routine through art – to get excited. Everybody has a taste, voice and emotions; art intensifies experiences and sharpens statements. Our purpose is to enable people drinking their morning coffee to discover yet another layer in the painting on the wall at home because it contains depth, messages, innovation, color and beauty. We intend to take art out of the cellars and bring it back to life in the homes.

Artists will be able to earn a respectable living from their art without being dependent upon Maecenas, without being required to invest financial resources to receive recognition. Their art will evoke the spiritual life and move the hearts of people who discover in it a voice, mirror and inspiration.
